Chemonics International Inc., a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks a professional to provide short term assistance, as a Fertilizer Sector Specialist, for the USAID funded Nepal Economic, Agriculture, and Trade Activity. The Fertilizer Sector specialist will work in NEAT’s Kathmandu office and travel throughout Nepal as required supporting NEAT’s fertilizer study. The Fertilizer specialist will provide technical support the lead international fertilizer consultant in data analysis, conducting research and policy analysis, and developing policy options and recommendations. The Specialist will produce a draft report on relevant policies, regulations and practises of the fertilizer sector in Nepal, India and Bangladesh and provide it to the international Fertilizer Policy Specialist for further analysis. S/he will also review and contribute to the final report developed by the International Fertilizer Policy Specialist. Assignment is expected to begin on or about April 1 and include 72 billable days over a 4 to 5 month period.
