National Project Officer – JICA Aug 2011
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), following an agreement on technical cooperation with the Government of Nepal, has started a technical cooperation project of Gender Mainstreaming and Social inclusion (GM/SI) since March 2009. The Project, named GeMSIP, focuses on capacity development of central and district level government officers for implementation of GM/SI responsive programs. The project duration is 5 years up to January 2014, and the project includes activities in two pilot districts, i.e., Syangja and Morang.
